The purpose of this summit is to achieve global coordination to restore economic growth and in particular undertake:

• to stabilize financial markets and to emerge from recession and give a new impetus to business that is to say preventing a widening of the crisis and its duration, prevent inflation, and avoid the tendency to protectionist policies that would be very harmful to each country;
• Reform and strengthen the financial system and economic world to restore confidence
• Place the global economy towards sustainable growth.
